Got a question about a care guide, one of our tools, or a partner we recommend? Send it over. A real person reads every message, and we answer most of them within two business days.

First, the important bit: if your pet needs help right now, please don't wait on us. We are a pet-care resource, not a veterinary practice, and a contact form is far too slow to be anyone's emergency service. If your pet is in distress, injured, or has eaten something it shouldn't have, call your vet or your nearest emergency animal hospital straight away. In the US, the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center answers (888) 426-4435 around the clock, every day of the year; a consultation fee may apply. Write to us afterwards — your pet comes first.

Help us give you a useful answer

"Is this food OK for my dog?" is a hard question to answer well. "Is this food OK for my 4-year-old, 30lb beagle who's putting on weight?" is an easy one. The more you tell us, the less we have to guess — so where it's relevant, include:

  • Species and breed, if you know it
  • Age and rough weight
  • What you've already tried
  • Which page or tool your question is about

And if you've spotted something on the site that's wrong, out of date, or a broken link, tell us that too. We'd rather hear it from you than leave it there.
